太平后廊是一个纯朴的小乡镇，除了保阁亚三，这里的美食也是太平区数一数二便宜又好吃的。当中最有名的就是卖了快三十年的后廊饼家。这里最热卖的首推香饼。这里的香饼大小适中，饼皮相当薄脆，里面的麦芽馅也不会太甜，很符合现代的人要吃得健康的要求。吃的时候可要小心别落得满地的饼碎，真是太酥了，带有微微的咸甜口感，非常好吃。除此之外，这里也有售卖各式各样的饼干如，豆沙饼，老婆饼，麦片饼，萨其马，黑糖饼，牛耳饼，加央饼和花生角等等。除了最热卖的香饼，我个人最喜欢吃那里的花生角，酥脆的饼皮，里面包着香气十足的炒花生馅以及芝麻。吃了以后像上了瘾似的一口接一口，很快的整包就吃完。来太平买伴手礼的话，千万别错过来这里。你肯定不会失望
